11 May ~2018

Since I went off caffeine again (previous time was from 2000 to 2011), I have discovered more energy to get up before dawn and walk the greenbelt just as the sun is risng. This week the cottonwoods have unfolded their leaves. It is a drastic but pleasant change to go from walking beneath bare branches and blue sky to now into corridors and canopies of green. The golden banners have bloomed beneath the eleven cottonwoods, and that spot is my hope of what heaven might be like. I left some of sweet Maggie's ashes there.
